NV Strategies Inc. (“NV Strategies”, “we”) is a fractional fundraising and communications consultancy based in Toronto, Ontario. This policy explains what information we collect through nvstrategies.ca, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- When you visit the site: the pages you view, how you arrived (for example, from a search or an ad), your device and browser type, your approximate location, and your IP address. This is collected through cookies and the tools listed below.
- When you book a call: your name, your email address, and anything you choose to share in the booking form. Bookings run through Google Calendar appointment scheduling.
- When you contact us: whatever you send us, such as your name, email address and message.
We do not ask for, or knowingly collect, sensitive personal information through this site.
How we use it
- To reply to you and hold the conversations you have asked for.
- To understand how the site is used and make it better.
- To measure whether our advertising works, and to show our ads to people who have visited the site.
We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and the tools we use
- Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, measures visits and actions such as clicking to book a call.
- Google Ads measures whether our ads lead to bookings, and may show our ads to past visitors on other websites.
- Google Calendar appointment scheduling handles call bookings.
- Our website host (Bluehost) and security tools (Jetpack) process technical information such as IP addresses to keep the site running and protected.
These providers may store and process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and manage the ads Google shows you at myadcenter.google.com.
How long we keep it
Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Booking and contact information is kept for as long as we need it to respond to you and for our business records.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to how we use it, subject to legal and contractual limits. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
